About your opportunity: Fixed term temporary flexible opportunities available, hours negotiable The position will: Deliver effective physiotherapy clinical services to an allocated inpatient and/or outpatient caseload as part of a multidisciplinary team primarily within the Townsville University Hospital and other service locations across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. Where the allocation is to the Townsville University Hospital, the position contributes to a 7-day, extended-hours physiotherapy (Emergency Department) and on-call service. The ideal candidate will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Clinical Expertise - Demonstrated competent level of knowledge, expertise and skill in physiotherapy clinical practice. Communication - Demonstrated effective communication skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a single-discipline or a multidisciplinary health care team. Clinical Ability - Demonstrated ability to manage a clinical caseload under the clinical practice supervision of more senior physiotherapists; and to assess non-complex patients and interpret assessment findings to develop and implement safe and effective routine physiotherapy interventions. Leadership - Demonstrated ability or ability to rapidly acquire the skill to supervise assistant staff and contribute to the supervision of students on work experience or clinical placement. What's on offer: Generous remuneration package value up to $132,730 p.a. comprising: Salary range of $2941.70 to $4459.00 p.f. (HP3) 4, 5, 6 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
