Learning Outcomes: As a Cyber Security Intern , you will gain hands-on experience in areas such as: Threat Detection & Response – Identifying and mitigating security threats in real-time. Vulnerability Assessment – Conducting scans and analyzing system weaknesses. Security Policy & Compliance – Assisting in audits and ensuring adherence to security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). Incident Handling – Participating in breach investigations and remediation. Network Security – Learning firewall, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools. Security Awareness Training – Helping develop and deliver employee cybersecurity training. Penetration Testing Basics – Assisting in ethical hacking simulations (if applicable). Security Tooling & Automation – Using SIEM, SOAR, or scripting for security tasks. LOCATION: The host company is located at Point Cook VIC. WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?
