Job Description Accounting: Well-versed with accounting concepts, supervise accounting functions, month-end close, Inventory accounting, ensure compliance with financial regulations, Lead and support audit functions, support internal stakeholders like FP&A Revenue Recognition: Oversee and manage the revenue recognition process for the APAC region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with Light and Wonder's policies and practices Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a small, high-performing, diverse accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, particularly in relation to revenue recognition. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes, particularly in revenue recognition, to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Finance, Operations, and Sales, to support business objectives and deliver accurate financial reporting Education & Experience: A qualified or certified accountant (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) is essential Minimum 3 years of experience in any of the reputed audit firms and 5 years of experience in a Corporation in handling financial accounting with a team of accountants. Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with revenue recognition principles and practices are critical for success in this role. Proven experience managing and mentoring a team within an accounting or finance function. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels Proficiency in financial and accounting software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Highly self-driven and motivated person Qualifications
