Display Interface Specialist – Contract Opportunity - Brisbane - 12 month contract A leading infrastructure project is seeking a talented Display Interface Specialist to help modernise and enhance the way critical real-time operations are visualised. This is a chance to contribute to a high-impact transformation project focused on safety, clarity, and operational excellence. What you’ll be doing: Designing, improving, and maintaining operational displays, dashboards, and schematic diagrams. Collaborating with engineers and operators to ensure interfaces meet real-world needs. Identifying and resolving display issues, gaps, and defects that impact usability. Creating new displays where automation falls short, and enhancing existing ones to meet design standards. Maintaining clear documentation and contributing to design specifications. Supporting team members with tools, techniques, and visualisation best practices. What we’re looking for: Experience with SCADA systems or real-time visualisation environments. Strong understanding of UI/UX in technical or operational settings. A sharp eye for detail, consistency, and accuracy. Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams. Comfortable using Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Background in IT, Engineering, Technical Communication, or similar fields.
