Description Levanta is seeking a detail-oriented, analytic and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our payment lifecycle, maintaining accurate financial records, bank reconciliation, invoice processing and reconciliation activities when required. You’ll be responsible for processing and monitoring payments, managing accounts payable transactions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Skills And Experiences Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing Investigate and process payment reversals and stop payment requests Manage and reconcile Company credit card transactions Ensure compliance with company policies for invoice approvals, GL coding, and expense claims Reconcile creditor accounts and prepare monthly accounts payable reports Respond to vendor and internal queries, and resolve payment issues such as reversals or adjustments Process employee expense claims in accordance with required authorisations as per company policy Collaborate with Purchasing as needed on freight costs and fumigation costs Provide support to Purchasing as required Prepare analysis of accounts payable monthly reports Bank reconciliation if required Contribute to continuous improvement of accounts payable systems and procedures About You 3 years’ experience in accounts payable, ideally across multiple business units Strong understanding of accounts payable policies and financial systems (EXO experience a plus) Previous experience in dealing with multiple, cross-company divisions in the provision of accounts payable solutions High attention to detail with excellent data entry and organisational skills Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite and finance systems software Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities Collaborative, customer-focused, and results-driven mindset Why Join Levanta?
