ABOUT THE ROLE The primary purpose of the Weighbridge team is to support the efficient and safe movement of cargo through the facility by performing a combination of tasks including data entry, truck logging and physical blow-down procedures. This ensures accurate record-keeping, maintains site cleanliness, and contributes to the smooth flow of operations. The position is a general role and candidates will alternate between Weighbridge Operator, Tally-Clerk and Blow-down Operator on a shift. Position type: Casual 24/7 Operations – This position includes day shift, night shifts, weekdays and weekends. *Please note – the work is sporadic and inconsistent Specific Responsibilities Weighbridge Operator: Responsible for accurate data entry Tracks trucks weights for cargo delivery and collection Strong written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with excel Tally-Clerk: Logs truck arrival and dispatch times Records key weight data on dockets Attention to detail is critical Blow-down Operator: Operates a high-pressure air gun to clean trucks exiting the facility Removes cargo debris from truck tires and tail-gates Qualifications and Experience Ability to work flexible hours across a 24/7 roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment Ability to work well within a small team environment Key Competencies/Skills Leadership Integrity Strong Communication skills (both written and verbal) Strategic Thinking Managing risk Planning & Problem-solving ability Negotiation skills Focus on safety Conflict resolution Customer focused and responsive to customer requirements Performance and task driven Analytical & financial understanding Time management BENEFITS Up to 50% off gyms, studios, active wear, healthy meals, supplements, recovery and more through the Qube Fit program.
