As our growth continues, we are actively seeking a Management Accountant to join the Outsourced Accounting Services team, located in the Brisbane office. The primary purpose of the role is to support our Outsourced Accounting Services business unit and more specifically our offshore bookkeeping team. The role will work closely with the Outsourced Accounting Services Manager by assisting with and supporting the growth of commercial/management accountants, and accounts officers within the team, to deliver high-level outsourced accounting services to a range of SME clients. Utilise management accountant consulting and advisory skills and knowledge to assist clients, while prioritising workloads for efficient task completion and effectively communicating any potential issues that may hinder meeting deadlines Review client’s weekly and monthly financial statements, including balance sheet reconciliations of key accounts recs, accruals and BAS Monitor and analyse the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and financial systems Ability to work autonomously and proactively participate and negotiate with other Outsourced Accounting team members and Manager Contribute to team workflow meetings in a clear and meaningful way with a view to achieving all team objectives and goals. Desired Skills and Experience About you Extensive and proven experience in a similar role or commercial and or tax related Degree in an accounting related field Demonstrated experience collaborating with offshore teams, adept at navigating cultural nuances to effectively manage diverse workforces Experience in reviewing client accounts and financial statements Ability to prepare journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive approach to working independently as well as in a team environment Competency in Microsoft Office and Xero and MYOB Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive client relationships, fostering collaboration with others to achieve desired outcomes Positive attitude and willingness to embrace growth opportunities.
