The Opportunity See Differently is on a transformation journey and is seeking a highly experienced Financial Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will support the implementation of Microsoft Business Central as part of a broader Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployment program. As a Financial Analyst you will be required to lead the financial implementation of Microsoft Business Central under the guidance of a Project Manager and in partnership with the wider finance team. Key Responsibilities: Leverage your strong financial background to support and optimise Business Central functionality Act as the key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring seamless integration and system enhancements Configure, customise, and improve Business Central to meet evolving business needs – not a transactional role Provide expert advice on system processes, reporting, and data integrity from a finance perspective Lead system upgrades, process automation, and continuous improvements across finance operations Collaborate with stakeholders to translate financial requirements into effective system solutions Planning of sprints required to enable a software release into production/operations; Understand and document detailed business and functional requirements, data validation requirements and translate business needs into process improvement solutions; Defining test cases and scenarios; Testing and acceptance to requirements; Cleansing and migration of data; Validation of daily and month end financial processes; Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards; Designing administrative process changes; Transferring knowledge through formal and informal training; and, Identification and writing of policies and processes. Your Skills and Expertise: Previous experience as a Finance Systems Administrator or similar role essential Strong understanding of Business Central architecture, modules, and user permissions Demonstrated ability of best practice use of Microsoft Business Central. This should include fiscal management in addition to the financial aspects of supply chain, inventory, asset management and fulfilment. Experienced in projects and or operations as financial business analyst. Experience with Microsoft analytics and intelligence reporting tool Degree qualified in Accounting. Strategic business thinker with attention to detail. Ability to investigate and report on current state work practices for improvement.
