The Company designs, builds and maintains electrical transmission and distribution networks, substations and battery systems. The Role Due to continuous growth, we are now seeking an outgoing and driven Civil Labourer to join our team in Preston, Sydney, NSW. Reporting to the Project and Construction Managers, the primary responsibilities will include: Support to tradespersons in carrying out equipment installations, cable pulling, routine maintenance, manual labour, and other duties as directed. Act as a spotter for mobile plant operators. Operate plant as required and directed by the Supervisor. Setting up work areas for the daily job tasks and requirements. Carry out vehicle and site maintenance as required. Collect and deliver materials from suppliers to the worksite. Assist with other duties as required. Essential Skills / Qualifications Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety. Valid Driver’s Licence – “MR or HR” Class. Forklift licence. OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card. Experience with use of power tools. Physical fitness and stamina, including the ability to do heaving lifting and manual labour. Ability to travel to other depots or worksites to complete project work as required. Open to working weekends when required. Candidate must be based in Sydney, NSW.
