The Company: Our client is a market leader in their segment with a state-of-the-art quality-focused contract wine bottling operation. located near Heathcote in Victoria’s beautiful Goulburn Valley region. The Role: Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Blending & Cellar Manager will be responsible for co-ordination and management of all cellar functions and wine movements for the business. They will ensure all bulk wine receivals are completed and tanks allocated to ensures all wine deliveries received in a timely fashion. Further duties include: Responsible for all bulk wines with supplying wineries, wine makers and relevant bulk transport organisations Filtration operations Blending and preparation of wine to meet production and customer requirements Maintenance and monitoring of all wine on site to maintain wine quality The Person: As the successful candidate you will have: Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relations both internally and externally with customers Previous experience in handling wine and winery experience is highly desirable Mechanical aptitude, technically minded with sound mechanical reasoning and comprehension Previous Management experience in a high-volume setting Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
