ASX-listed international tourism and transport company Key leadership role within a successful and growing organisation Drive process improvement and financial control across Kelsian's shared services and parent company About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance operations of our parent company and oversee core group finance functions, including treasury, fixed assets, accounts payable and receivable. Reporting to the Group Head of Financial Reporting, this critical role will be responsible for ensuring efficient, well-documented and automated financial processes, strong internal controls, and effective management reporting across corporate and shared services functions. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic ASX-listed organisation with exposure to international operations, strategic finance, and capital management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead financial operations for the parent company, including monthly reporting, analysis, and board-level insights. Oversee shared services functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, treasury, and fixed assets. Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and statutory disclosures for corporate entities. Manage intercompany processes and ensure compliance with tax, governance and reporting obligations. Support capital management, hedging activities, and group cashflow forecasting. Collaborate with auditors, advisors, and insurance brokers. Develop finance process documentation, drive automation, and deliver continuous improvement. Lead and mentor finance staff, encouraging a high-performance culture. About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Essential: CA/CPA qualification with 10 years' experience, including 5 years as a Finance Manager or 2 years as a Financial Controller. Strong commercial acumen with end-to-end finance expertise across management reporting, statutory reporting, and operational finance. Advanced technical and analytical skills with proven process improvement capabilities. Hands-on leadership style with a collaborative, proactive approach. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and finance systems. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and mentoring skills. Preferred: Experience in a listed or large, complex commercial environment. Treasury or capital management exposure. Skilled in using process documentation or automation tools.
