Support hiring and training high-quality staff and encourage their professional growth. Ensure courses are designed to meet industry needs. Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and audits to keep operations cost-effective. Work with the Corporate Board to secure funding for current and future needs. Oversee marketing efforts to promote SCEI-HE effectively. 4. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure SCEI-HE follows all laws and regulations, including the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act and National Code. Submit required documents on time and manage risks to maintain CRICOS registration. Inform TEQSA of significant changes to the institute. 5. Community and Stakeholder Engagement Act as SCEI-HE’s main representative, communicating with stakeholders like industry, regulators, and community groups. Build partnerships to support SCEI-HE’s mission and strengthen its community presence. Advocate for policies that benefit SCEI-HE and higher education. 6. Strategic and Operational Management Lead the delivery of SCEI-HE’s Strategic and Business Plans as approved by the Board. Manage complex challenges, make quick decisions, and balance multiple priorities. Set pricing policies and ensure efficient use of resources. Maintain a flexible schedule to meet leadership demands. 7. Additional Duties Represent SCEI-HE at industry events and external committees. Show commitment to professional development and promote a positive image for SCEI-HE. Perform other tasks as directed by the Board. Minimum Qualifications Academic: Master’s degree or higher. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a senior management role within the higher education sector. Skills: Proven leadership and staff management, with experience overseeing academic faculties or schools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. Expertise in change management and strategic implementation. Ability to develop quality assurance strategies aligned with TEQSA Standards. Strong understanding of educational design and AQF-compliant course development. Established professional networks with industry and academic communities. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Academic Excellence: Achieve compliance with TEQSA Standards and AQF requirements, with positive outcomes in teaching quality assessments and student satisfaction surveys. Financial Performance: Meet or exceed annual budget targets, maintain cost-effective operations, and secure funding for strategic initiatives. Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to ESOS Act, National Code, and TEQSA regulations, with timely submission of all required documentation and no critical audit findings. Stakeholder Engagement: Increase partnerships with industry and community groups by a measurable percentage annually and maintain high stakeholder satisfaction ratings. Strategic Goals: Successfully implement 90% or more of Strategic and Business Plan objectives within set timelines.
