You'll manage stakeholders and be exceptional at working with clients and providing advice. In this role you'll get to experience working with a diverse and interesting range of clients and industries, using your broad knowledge to support a range of sole-traders, non-profits, small business and large companies. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients including start-ups of various sizes, industries and established SMEs Liaise directly with clients Income Tax Returns, Company Tax Returns, Trust Returns Prepare and lodge QBCC MFR and annual reporting requirements Self Managed Super Funds Business Activity Statements Report & lodge superannuation through Xero/Portal Liaise with lawyers, financial planners and other industry specialists to get the best advice for clients The Ideal Candidate Qualifications in Accounting Public practice experience ideal Understanding of the Australian accounting system Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships Ability to manage the end to end quarterly and annual tax compliance process confidently Experience with Xero and XPM ideal (or ability to pick up new systems quickly) Understanding of QBCC requirements (or willing to learn how to lodge reports for our construction industry clients) Approachable person that can contribute to discussions & an open, collaborative work culture A friendly & fun personality are highly valued qualities!
