The Centre of Excellence (CoE) within Major Projects promotes a culture of better practice for capital infrastructure projects. It develops and maintains the preferred project management and contract management methodologies, as well as broader support materials for the Public Works capital workforce. Your role will focus on supporting the lead in collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, enhance, and maintain project support materials while managing the online resource centre to ensure accessibility and usability for internal teams. You will coordinate governance frameworks within the CoE, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards, while also evaluating and optimizing tools that empower teams to drive successful project outcomes. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder engagement skills, and a commitment to delivering data-driven solutions that improve project efficiencies, ultimately shaping the future of Queensland's public infrastructure and making a tangible impact every day. What you will be doing:- Working with the relevant subject matter experts, contributors and working groups to develop a diverse range of artefacts (templates, tools and guidance information) that support Project Managers and Contract Managers to deliver capital works projects, under the guidance of the Principal, Practice and Assurance. - Investigating, analysing and evaluating information and feedback from end users, and work with key stakeholders to progress any required changes.- Assisting the Principal, Practice and Assurance in managing key tasks, deliverables and deadlines, including supervision and coordination of working group members to achieve project objectives and general project reporting requirements.- Maintaining the online CoE Resource Centre through Microsoft SharePoint, including user access, site content and document library.- Providing project secretariat services and reporting requirements for various committees and stakeholder arrangements within CoE governance frameworks.- Implementing the integration of CoE published materials with QBuild's Quality Control team and system.- Monitoring and managing high volumes of correspondence through a shared mailbox, including the identification and escalation of risks and issues.- Managing and maintaining key registers, including the Feedback Register and the Communications and Engagement register.- Coordinate feedback by identifying, prioritising, and addressing common themes, while communicating updates to affected users.- Managing CoE Team artefacts and records in compliance with departmental and organisational policies and systems.- Delivering complex research and discovery tasks.- Following quality standards, policies, and guidelines in the development and maintenance of materials. The skills you will need include: - Proven ability to contribute to the delivery of projects, collaborate with teams, and ensure risks are mitigated and milestones achieved.- Demonstrated capacity to provide high level administration and coordination to a range of key stakeholders, regarding programs and projects objectives.- The ability to deliver outcomes through self-management, sometimes with guidance from team leaders.- Excellent written and oral communication skills.- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
