The Student Recruitment Specialist at RMIT UP is responsible for driving international student enrolments across new English language programs and supporting business development initiatives. About the role As the Student Recruitment Specialist within RMIT University Pathways, you will play a key role in driving student recruitment for new English language programs—including General English, Fast Track University Pathway s , and online short courses. Your efforts will directly support the implementation and growth of these new programs and contribute to achieving ambitious enrolment targets. Reporting to the Associate Director, International Student Recruitment and Business Development, you’ll also support business development initiatives by identifying and fostering international recruitment opportunities, building strong partnerships with agents, and contributing to the delivery of study tour programs. You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on expanding RMIT UP’s reach both domestically and internationally, while working collaboratively across the broader RMIT international recruitment and marketing ecosystem. About You You’re a proactive and experienced international education professional with a passion for student recruitment and a successful track record of delivering growth in enrolments. With strong knowledge of international markets—particularly in the ELICOS and foundation studies sectors—you thrive in building meaningful partnerships with agents, stakeholders, and prospective students. You bring strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong project management skills, and are confident in working across culturally diverse environments. Your interpersonal and communication skills are second to none, and you're ready to travel interstate and internationally to support recruitment outcomes. Key strengths and attributes include: A relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification Experience in international education, ELICOS, or higher education environments Proven success in developing and implementing recruitment and marketing strategies Strong stakeholder engagement, including working with agents and university partners Ability to analyse market data and deliver actionable insights Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, Studylink , and social media platforms A valid passport and flexibility to travel.
