Position: Business Analyst Location: Perth, CBD Salary: Negotiable Job Type: Contract (12 Months) Position Overview: OUI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a contract position based in Perth CBD. This role involves conducting technical and business feasibility analysis for a new visualisation platform. Perks: Exposure to latest Microsoft technologies and cloud services 12-month contract, with potential extensions Collaborative team environment with experienced professionals Structured project methodology experience (PRINCE2) Roles and Responsibilities: Define and analyse business problems in conjunction with stakeholders to identify current and proposed states Undertake investigation, collation, analysis and evaluation of complex issues, policies and procedures Facilitate and lead gathering of business, functional and user requirements with key stakeholders Support development teams by providing required information to ensure high velocity solution delivery Undertake initial benefits realisation and business readiness activities for operational impact assessment Maintain technical standards in line with organisational requirements Liaise with key stakeholders for resolution of issues and conflicts Assist in identifying and controlling project risks and issues Develop comprehensive technical design documentation, both logical and physical Provide high-level specialist advice and services to project teams Role Requirements: Minimum 5 years relevant Business Analyst experience with significant government environment exposure Demonstrated practitioner experience in PRINCE2 and MSP methodologies Strong analysis skills, problem solving and project management capabilities Excellent consultation, negotiation and verbal communication skills Exceptional written and report writing skills Ability to guide and influence stakeholders effectively Experience in IT Application Design and Enterprise systems implementation Team leadership capabilities and collaborative working approach Technical Requirements: PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (essential) SAFe and MSP qualifications highly regarded Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies and cloud platforms Knowledge of database technologies (COSMO DB, MSSQL) Understanding of modern development frameworks (.Net Core, React, RESTful APIs) Experience with benchmarking and hardware platforms Proficiency in technical documentation and design standards We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
