We now have an exciting opportunity available for an ESP Process Manager to join our Strategy and Corporate Development team in Sydney CBD, Melbourne Southbank or Brisbane CBD office on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will play a critical role in driving APA’s Enterprise Strategic Planning Process (ESPP) and leading Strategy Projects, ensuring that strategic initiatives, investments, and enterprise-wide priorities are aligned, visible, and actionable. This is a high-impact role working closely with senior leaders across the business to coordinate planning cycles, facilitate prioritisation, and support the execution of APA’s strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead the Enterprise Strategic Planning Process (roughly 50% of the role), ensuring alignment across business units, key planning cycles, and executive priorities Maintain and enhance ESPP tools, dashboards, and a master view of strategic initiatives and investment priorities Coordinate planning calendars, milestones, and ELT/Board materials to support effective enterprise-wide decision-making Contribute to enterprise strategy projects (roughly 50% of the role), supporting the Head of Strategy in delivering high-impact, cross-functional initiatives Conduct research, develop strategic recommendations, and shape scenario planning and option analysis Collaborate across teams to ensure strategic initiatives are well scoped, aligned, and effectively executed across the organisation About You Proven experience in strategic planning, enterprise planning, or portfolio management within large, complex organisations Strong understanding of interconnected planning cycles, including budgeting, investment prioritisation, and corporate strategy alignment Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent planning processes and strategic initiatives, coordinating inputs across senior stakeholders and business units Proficiency in developing and managing strategic planning tools, dashboards, and templates to support enterprise-wide visibility and decision-making Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing clear, concise, and executive-level strategy materials Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with a track record of influencing senior leaders and aligning diverse teams to strategic priorities Working at APA At APA we’re committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
