This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and energetic, with a passion for driving real change and engaging people at all levels. Reporting to the National HS Manager, you’ll provide technical health and safety advice, supporting the continuous improvement and sustainability of site HS programs across areas such as: Audits, Risk Assessments & Investigations Machinery, Chemical, Electrical and Contractor Safety Permit to Work, LOTO and Emergency Management Ergonomics, Working at Heights and Return-to-Work initiatives What You’ll Do Support the National RPF and Site Health & Safety Plan Maintain effective HS monitoring programs and legislative compliance Coach and support teams on risk assessment and hazard identification Deliver engaging HS training and communications across shifts Drive continuous improvement through safety projects and initiatives Manage injury management and Return-to-Work programs What You’ll Bring Experience in a similar HSE role within food manufacturing or mass production Experience in a similar HSE role within food manufacturing or mass production A Cert IV in WHS (or equivalent qualification) Strong project management skills and understanding of WHS legislation Confidence delivering safety training to small and large groups Knowledge of workers compensation and injury management A proactive, collaborative mindset — you’re visible, approachable, and lead safety by example on the floor This isn’t just a compliance role — it’s a chance to be part of a passionate operations team where health and safety is embedded in everything we do.
