THE ROLE Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Team Leader will be responsible for leading and supervising a skilled shift team comprising both trade and non-trade personnel. This role is primarily focused on operational management, with an emphasis on driving team performance and ensuring production efficiency. While the core responsibility lies in leadership and coordination, the position also requires the ability to operate equipment when necessary and support the team in achieving production targets. You’ll work closely with the team to keep production flowing, troubleshoot operational issues, and adjust priorities as demands change. The role also involves shift documentation, including reporting on KPIs, equipment issues, and team performance. This role will include: Leading day-to-day shift operations, working closely with your team on the floor Operating and overseeing high-speed, automated production equipment Fostering a positive, cooperative team culture focused on safety and results Completing shift reporting and documentation (KPI tracking, issues, and escalations) Adjusting team focus during shifts to manage production demands/issues as they arise ABOUT YOU With proven experience as a Production Team Leader in fast-paced, high-performing, automated environments. You will be able to prioritize and remain composed under pressure. You will have a genuine interest in supporting the development and performance of yourself and your team.
