About the Role We are looking for a passionate and highly organised People and Culture Coordinator to join our team at EDU. You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of all People and Culture processes across the employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to engagement and performance management. This role will be based in our Sydney campus. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including advising managers and coordinating the seamless induction of new employees. Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate employee records, including regular updates in the people management system (ELMO or similar). Performance Management: Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual reviews. Engagement & Culture: Organise and deliver employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture, fostering a positive work environment aligned with EDU’s values. People and Culture Support: Provide advice on a range of People and Culture enquiries, assist with employee relations matters, and support various operational tasks. Training & Development: Assist with the delivery of training and development initiatives to support employee growth and performance. Offboarding & Reporting: Manage the offboarding process for departing employees and generate regular People and Culture reports as required. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with legislative changes and award entitlements, and collaborate with the WHS committee to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. Education, Experience, and Skills: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant field. Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist People and Culture role. Experience in the education industry highly desirable. Demonstrated experience with managing recruitment, onboarding, and people management systems (ELMO or similar). Passion for driving an engaging work culture and maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction. Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee data.
