About the role This position provides an efficient and effective client focused Revenue and Administrative service to staff and patients who utilise services both at Ipswich Hospital, The Hayden Centre, Ripley Sub Acute and The Park - Centre for Mental Health. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the legislation and procedures relevant to financial and patient management in the provision of financial practices, including financial procedures, cash handling, revenue and patient accounts management, preferably in a health service environment (e.g. Fees & Charges for accommodation and Outpatient Services). Sound computer skills including data entry and use of computer applications such as Microsoft applications (word, excel, electronic mail) and patient databases (e.g. HBCIS, S/4 HANA, MediRecords). High level organisational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, completing priorities and ability to meet deadlines and work under limited supervision as an individual or a member of a multi-disciplinary team. High level interpersonal written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate and negotiate successfully with all levels of the private and public sectors on a range of confidential and sensitive issues.
