Full Time Fixed Term Role until June 2026 for a Dedicated Student Placements Officer O pportunity to provide a broad range of administrative and operational support for placements within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Base Salary 103,185.00 plus 17% Superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty of Medicine and Health Education is looking for a Student Placements Officer to join their growing team on a fixed term full-time basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity to use your exceptional administrative and organisational experience to plan, organise, negotiate, and source placements Currently there is a requirement for this position to be on-site a minimum of 3 days a week, with a 2 day a week hybrid working. Hybrid working options will be decided with your manager if you are successful in this position. Your key responsibilities will be to: negotiate, source and coordinate student placements liaise with external and internal stakeholders to organise student placements provide support to academic staff to ensure placements are effectively managed use the placement management software, Sonia, to ensure that placements are being processed and delivered as effectively as possible provide support for both students and placement providers to ensure that a high quality, client-focused service is being provided. About you strong administration background, preferably attained in a tertiary environment effective and tactful verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stake holders strong problem-solving skills exhibits initiative and sound judgment excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes great attention to detail.
