Discounted membership to over 290 gyms/recreation centres Access to Salary Packaging superannuation 17.5% leave loading Base pay rates: $28.95 - $29.70/hr depending on qualifications and experience Part Time Basis – 7 shifts per fortnight Based at our Eunice Seddon Residential Aged Care Home in Dandenong (VIC) Your new role Wintringham is currently seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our tight-knit and friendly Domestic Services team at the Eunice Seddon Residential Aged Care Home on a Part Time basis. As a Domestic Services Assistant, you will be working across our cleaning, kitchen and laundry teams. Your fortnightly roster will be as below: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday (0700-1430) Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday (0700 – 1430) Your responsibilities and duties will include: To clean resident rooms, common areas, office spaces, cleaners and staff room as scheduled To replenish & maintain stock levels Cleaning & Laundry duties as per schedule To ensure provision of clean laundry throughout the home at all times To assist with the preparation and serving of all Meals, Drinks and Snacks in the kitchenettes We are looking for candidates with the following: Previous experience in a cleaning/laundry role – preferably in Aged Care/Health Care Excellent time management and organisation skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team A non-judgmental approach to working with people Qualifications and experience in food handling, infection control, manual handling and the use of cleaning chemicals (highly advantageous) Food Safety Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate (highly advantageous) Physically able to perform manual tasks including (but not limited to) bending & lifting This sounds great!
