The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for the General Counsel-Deputy Secretary inquiries, liaise with stakeholders (including members of the senior management team), and help respond to emerging policy and management issues to ensure effective resolution. What you will bring to the role High level stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with stakeholders, foster high levels of collaboration across the Group and Department Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex issues and adapt solutions to evolving situations Strong attention to detail and high-level written communication skills to oversee and manage correspondence activity, briefing notes, submissions and reports, ensuring timely and accurate information and responses. Experience managing small team and developing the capacity of others What is an essential requirement: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience delivering project/strategic planning or performance outcomes within a government environment. Demonstrated experience in exercising sound judgement, particularly in matters of sensitivity, strict confidentiality and/or potential controversy.
