You'll collaborate closely with the Master Systems Integrator to design and implement cutting-edge data infrastructure for operational technology integration. Your expertise will drive operational improvements and innovation across all university campuses, ensuring efficient data flow from various building systems to the Smart Campus platform. Your responsibilities will include:Design and Implement Data Systems: Develop scalable OT data management systems and pipelines to collect telemetry from various sources.Optimise Data Performance: Monitor and fine-tune queries, scale infrastructure, and automate telemetry collection using orchestration tools.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with the MSI and business stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure data availability for analysis.Maintain Data Governance: Establish and maintain frameworks for data access, compliance, and security in collaboration with the MSI.You may be a great fit if: You are an experienced data engineer with a strong background in designing large-scale data management systems, proficiency in database technologies, and expertise in OT systems and protocols used in building management. You may also:Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.Have proven experience in implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.Possess strong skills in SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based data solutions.Demonstrate proficiency in scripting languages for automation and data processing.Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.For further information please refer to the attached PD.
