Our services create intentional avenues for young people to explore opportunities, build support networks, and access, participate and contribute to their communities. Kalgoorlie-Boulder Youth Accommodation Service (KBYAS ) accommodation and support to young people at our 6 room residential home in the heart of the Goldfields region. About the role We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated full time youth worker, based at our Kalgoorlie location. Reporting to the accommodation team leader, you will provide support to young people experiencing homelessness and other trauma in a safe and psychologically informed environment aligning to our National Model of Car - Journey to Independence. This is a full-time position requiring you to work 9 shifts across a 76 hour working fortnight. This includes days from 7am starting and afternoons finishing at 9pm. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS award, level 4. You will successfully Establish effective relationships with young people and key stakeholders to encourage favourable outcomes for young people facing homelessness Develop an individual case plan in collaboration with young peoples and include a range of interventions that clearly address young people's needs.
