Professional couple seeks a nanny for their beautiful 3.5 year old son to replace his existing nanny, who has recently returned to her home country. Proposed hours are 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Wednesday; 2 pm to 6 pm on Thursdays and 2pm to 5:30pm on Fridays. It is proposed that the successful applicant will be engaged on a full-time basis and therefore be entitled to annual and personal leave. Alternatively, the employer is open to splitting the position as between two nannies who only wish to work between two and three days each. The successful applicant or applicants will be expected, in conjunction with the parents, to support the early childhood development of the child and provide for facilitate enriching activities for the child beyond basic care. The successful applicant or applicants who works on Thursday or Friday will also be expected to pick the child up from preschool and return him to his family home. She, he or they will not be expected to perform any cleaning or other general household tasks not associated with the child. The ideal applicant or applicants will have experience and training in early childhood education and a passion for helping preschoolers meet and exceed their development milestones. They will be willing, able and eager to work with the child’s parents in that respect. An above market salary or hourly rate will be negotiated with the preferred applicant or applicants.
