Head of Operations Full-time Immediate Start Commutable to Edinburgh preferred PlayerData is seeking a Head of Operations to join the team during our biggest year of growth so far. You will need exceptional leadership skills, plenty of experience solving new challenges and the ability to quickly change tasks or projects to meet the needs of the wider team at any given moment. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar company at the same or larger scale. They must be able to cover day to day operational management, future-proofing and legal and compliance matters as well as managing teams and planning strategically. What you’ll be doing: Team & Resource Management Day to day management of operational teams - including HR, Support, Logistics, RevOps, Administrative roles Provide support and direction on company goals and objectives to each of your teams Coordinate resources across teams Respond to business needs and adjust projects, strategies and processes accordingly Process Improvement & Optimisation Continually assess and optimisation current operations for scale, including identifying potential bottlenecks and resolving Lead continuous improvement and hold teams accountable for using data to drive decisions and continue improving and optimising Risk Management & Compliance Identify and mitigate risks across the business Ensure continued compliance internationally, reviewing regularly in line with growth Respond to issues and incidents, de-escalating and ensuring a positive outcome with minimal impact Liaise with external legal counsel and coordinating any legal work required Reporting & Analysis Track key data across all functions, focussing on: Data cleanliness and improving reporting processes Delivering regular reports from team to exec level Performance tracking for improvements and accountability This role will require you to juggle a variety of responsibilities, working with internal and external stakeholders, while keeping the team focussed and aligned.
