Your Opportunity As the International Student Homestay Coordinator you will: Manage and coordinate high quality and responsive service delivery and welfare support to international students. Contribute to the provision of a successful experience for international students at the school and the enhancement of Queensland's reputation as a provider of quality education programs. The International Student Homestay Coordinator reports to either the Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Department or Line Manager and will work collaboratively with teaching and administrative staff, as well as nominated officers within DE International. Your Responsibilities As the International Student Homestay Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Recruit and screen host families in line with EQI standards Ensure compliance with Education Queensland International (EQI) requirements Support the welfare of international students in homestay arrangements Facilitate positive relationships between homestay providers, students, and school staff Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders Conduct home visits to monitor and support homestay environments Manage documentation and maintain accurate records Address and resolve issues to ensure student safety and wellbeing Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.
