YOUR ROLE The School Liaison Manager will work directly with Regional Operations to ensure the timely and professional formulation of responses to non-critical complaints from school and community engagement within the region. This role is responsible for supporting schools and community to resolve complaints associated with school operations and student support, escalating to the appropriate teams, including the Senior Manager, School Leadership, as required. This is a fixed-term position until the end of Term 4. Description WHAT YOU WILL DO Working alongside the Senior Manager, School Leadership, receive, assess, and process complaints, supporting the resolution of complaints by crafting appropriate responses in a formal manner in accordance with MACS policies and procedures Working with Senior Learning Partners, maintain accurate and confidential records of complaints and their outcomes within the MACS record keeping system Escalate and cooperate with the appropriate level, or team as required, until resolution and formal closure of the complaint. Liaise with relevant stakeholders (senior managers, school leadership, parents, and community members) to investigate and resolve complaints effectively Provide advice and support to staff on complaint handling procedures, formulation of formal complaint responses and conflict resolution ABOUT YOU Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality. Proven experience in complaint management, conflict resolution, or related fields, preferably in the context of education Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and professionally with diverse stakeholders Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including child safety, privacy, and anti-discrimination laws Strong time management skills to be able to prioritise and plan workloads to meet deadlines High level ethical standards and a commitment to procedural fairness High level knowledge and skills in working with relevant software packages, especially within the Microsoft Office package HOW TO APPLY Please refer to the position description for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.
