Aplace is a business that specialises in affordable house and land investment packages across Victoria and Queensland. Reporting to the Production Team Manager – Aplace Vic, we are seeking an experienced Drafting Manager to be based in our brand new Docklands Office to provide internal support to our staff, including the below; Responsibilities include; · Overseeing all production & sales drafting across all of Aplace. · Maintaining Quality Procedures and driving continuous improvement to enhance capabilities. · Ensuring your team complies with developer guidelines, local council and small lot housing code requirements · Liaise with consultants, planning authorities and key suppliers · Assist with drafting enquiries and any escalations · Liaise with the larger operations team throughout a number of departments About you At Glenvill we believe quality is an attitude not an outcome. We anticipate that you will already possess a high level of acumen with AutoCad or Revit software and across the Microsoft suite -Outlook, Word, and Excel. · Strong work ethic and good self-motivation · Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills · AutoCAD or Revit experience is a must. · Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box · Experience with the Small Lot Housing code · Outstanding knowledge of building codes and regulations to ensure new designs comply. · Leading a team of Draftspersons including offshore You will deliver with a mature, calm and efficient approach. You will be an important member of a fun team, dedicated to supporting each other while growing, learning and laughing. You will be able to prioritise work and consult with management to deliver time critical outcomes.
