They are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Executive Pastry Chef to join their dedicated team at their production kitchen. About the Role:As Executive Pastry Chef, you will oversee the preparation of all desserts and baked goods across a wide range of catering jobs—from large-scale events to custom small orders. Your work will set the standard for quality and presentation, while you lead and support a talented pastry team.This is a full-time role, Sunday to Friday. Saturday is always off, with an additional regular day off (usually Monday or Tuesday), offering good work-life balance within a busy and dynamic kitchen. Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day pastry production in our Moorabbin kitchen, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.Design and produce innovative and seasonal dessert offerings within kosher guidelines.Train and mentor junior team members to maintain high standards.Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimise waste. What We’re Looking For:Proven experience as a senior or lead pastry chef, ideally in a catering or high-volume kitchen environment.Strong technical skills in traditional and contemporary pastry.Leadership ability and a collaborative working style.A keen eye for detail and presentation.Excellent organisational and time management skills.
