We are seeking a talented leader for our Electrical team in Canberra, as part of our Building Engineering group. You’ll bring experience in Electrical Engineering, along with people leadership experience or strong aspirations for career growth as a people leader. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Managing the day-to-day functioning of the Electrical team, supporting the delivery of impactful projects that make a difference in our community Building team capability around technical delivery, project and client outcomes, and delivering high quality projects for our clients, through coaching and mentoring Leading the development and submission of proposals, managing resource allocation, and acting as project manager for small to medium-sized projects. Promoting an inclusive, supportive and collaborative working environment within the team What you will bring to the team: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related Buildings Engineering discipline. 7 or more years of experience in electrical engineering for property and buildings in a consulting or professional services environment. Experience in leadership and management of Building Engineering / Building Services projects. Previous experience or a strong appetite to manage a team.
