The key duties of the position include The Role The Land Mobility and Support Program (LM&SP) is seeking two APS 6 Capability Support Officers to work across the program. You will work within the team, delivering Project and Product Management support to achieve outcomes for Army capabilities across a wide range of capabilities. You will work on a range of duties in support of LM&SP, including activities in support of our vehicle platforms, generators and bulk fuel distribution systems. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including Australian Defence Force members, APS, Contractors and our Industry Partners. This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement (DECA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. About our Team The Land Mobility and Support Program (LM&SP) is a Program within Platforms branch of the Land Capability Division, Army Headquarters. LM&SP is responsible for the acquisition, Introduction into Service (IIS) and sustainment of a range of Land Tactical Vehicle Fleets, Distribution systems, Infrastructure, Deployable Health, and Expeditionary Basing capabilities.
