To strengthen DDG's business analysis capability, DDG is looking for ICT APS5 Business Analysts who have experience delivering secure, reliable and modern ICT systems to replace legacy software applications. The role requires experience and knowledge of requirements elicitation and management techniques. Business Analysts are expected support the discovery of stakeholder needs, identify pain points and uncover potential solutions. A well-developed ability to consistently document information in a structured and organised manner is critical to the success of this role. About our Team Our successful candidate will be a part of the Business Analysis Chapter within DDG's Program Management Office. The team provides support to various phases of project delivery. The business analyst is assigned to work with project teams across different technology and business domains to plan, manage and deliver business analysis artefacts including but not limited to business cases, business processes, user journey maps, operational scenarios and business and solution requirements (under both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches). As a team member within the Business Analysis Chapter, you will also be required to contribute to the professionalisation of the team. The Business Analysis Chapter will provide support with professional development and peer support to ensure continued career growth and APS skill development Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate to have extensive experience in the following: Gathering and documenting business needs and technical requirements for infrastructure and software/system projects. Engaging with stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyse existing systems and processes, identifying gaps, risks, and areas for improvement. Supporting and conducting requirements elicitation and validation workshops. Performing gap analysis - the 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' states of the ICT operating environment. Good Understanding of business analysis approaches including defining requirements architecture, undertaking MoSCoW and SWOT analyses, and preparing data analysis to elaborate on project scope and deliverables. Communicating complex business and ICT concepts clearly, providing concise updates to stakeholders and leadership from technical and non-technical backgrounds. Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders from both technical and non-technical teams. Understanding of business analysis activities using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
