We are seeking a Pentaho Tech Lead to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Pentaho in AWS ecosystem along with good SQL knowledge. This role involves designing and implementing data solutions that align with our business goals ensuring data integrity and efficiency. In this role you can expect to: - Design and implement scalable ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) to support business objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with Property & Casualty Insurance domain needs. - Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed for business intelligence and analytics purposes. - Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources, maintaining data quality and consistency. This involves working with different data formats and structures. - Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability. This includes tuning data transformations and load processes to handle large volumes of data efficiently. - Work closely with business analysts, data Architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business requirements. - Document ETL processes, data flows, and system architecture. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for future reference and troubleshooting. - Provide support for ETL processes, including troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes. Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle. - Lead ETL projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. - Ensure that ETL processes comply with data governance and security policies. Implement measures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. - Engage with stakeholders to communicate technical solutions and their impact on business outcomes. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data technologies and insurance industry trends to drive continuous improvement. - Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data architecture and engineering within the organization. - Support the hybrid work model by effectively managing tasks and communication in both remote and in-office settings.
