As a member of the Communications and Marketing team, and under the guidance of the Content Strategist, the Senior Digital Content Producer is responsible for managing the Memorial's social media platforms, including the development of content and the ongoing optimisation of social media performance, including undertaking digital marketing and projects. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with proven experience creating, editing and publishing a diverse range content for social media platforms. They will be proactive in seeking out and developing content opportunities, working with a mix of internal and external stakeholders. They will be able work flexibly in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, while ensuring that content is accurate and meets Memorial brand guidelines. Tertiary Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism, media (or a related field) are essential. Experience working with digital content in a museum or government environment will be highly regarded. This position requires manual handling. The key duties of the position include Create, schedule, publish and monitor social media content consistent with the Memorial's Brand Guidelines, Digital Engagement Strategy and Content Strategy. Work effectively with multiple stakeholders to produce appropriate and engaging digital content strategies using analytics and evidence-based recommendations. Evaluate and optimise social media performance demonstrating proficiency in social media monitoring tools, including regular reporting and interpretation of analytics. Develop and create high-quality video and graphics, including designing, scripting, filming and editing for social media. Write and edit copy for social media posts that is historically accurate, engaging and consistent with Memorial branding.
