The Commercial Hotel in the heart of Kingaroy serves up a well-rounded menu that blends traditional Aussie pub favourites with contemporary bistro flair. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week in our newly refurbished dining spaces including the bar, beer garden, and The Nest. The Role: Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures Assisting with menu changes when required Successful Candidate: Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen Availability to work any hospitality hours Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment Brilliant communication skills with all team members Certificate III in Commercial Cookery We’re a dynamic, fast-paced venue with a strong local following and a supportive team culture.
