About the role As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Assessor you will deliver high-quality services primarily through assessments, but also through case management, referrals, education, and support. How you will make an impact Deliver effective day-to-day services through education sessions, interventions, group work, assessments, referrals, and case management within a recovery-oriented environment. Develop, implement, and monitor individual treatment plans while maintaining accurate case notes, reports, and data according to established planning procedures. Perform additional tasks as directed by the Manager, Program Manager, or Senior Case Worker. Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of referral pathways and support options for participants. Build and sustain collaborative, professional relationships with internal and external services. What you will bring Hold a minimum Cert IV (Diploma preferred) qualification in a relevant field (e.g., AOD, Community Services, Case Management). Completed the 4 AOD Skill Set Units, or willing to complete them during employment. Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to unpredictable behaviours and situations using de-escalation strategies. A minimum of two years' experience working in a recovery environment is desirable. Proficient computer skills, including data entry and reporting. Mandatory Requirements: A current national police check. A valid Driver’s Licence. A Cert IV qualification (or higher) in a relevant discipline (AOD, Community Services, Case Management).
