The Role Toll Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Release and Deployment Manager to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient deployment of new technology initiatives, enhancements, and fixes into our operational environment. As the Release and Deployment Manager, you will: Lead and Manage Release Processes – Oversee the development and documentation of release and deployment processes across Toll’s IT systems. Plan and Schedule Enterprise Releases – Create and maintain a forward-looking release calendar, coordinating across teams to align with business and IT timelines. Design and Execute Deployment Strategies – Develop tailored strategies for deploying complex technology changes, ensuring environments are ready and risks are managed. Communicate and Govern Effectively – Ensure clear communication of plans, risks, and updates, while maintaining compliance with internal frameworks and external obligations. Review and Improve Continuously – Conduct post-deployment reviews and drive ongoing improvements in release and deployment practices. Support Tools and Automation Adoption – Promote and manage the use of deployment tools and automation platforms to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline is desirable PMP / PMI / PRINCE2 /PMBOK or equivalent certification desirable IIBA Certification CBAP or comparable experience desirable Skills and Experience: Demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale IT projects (10 years’ experience). Proven direct experience in either Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and SDLC processes Experience working with 3rd party IT providers and/or system integrators Planning and conducting workshops to facilitate effective creation of runbooks and that changes are understood and approved by stakeholders.
