Waymark Hotel is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to join our team and support our Hotel division across a wide range of HR functions. About the Role In this diverse and hands-on role, you will provide operational HR support across key functional areas, while working closely with managers and employees to foster a positive, compliant, and supportive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Operational HR Support: Deliver accurate, culturally sensitive advice and guidance across all areas of HR, including employment relations, performance management, and general HR processes. Rehabilitation & Return to Work: Manage workplace injury cases end-to-end, supporting employees through recovery and facilitating their safe return to work. Visa Management: Ensure timely and compliant handling of visa processes, including coordinating applications, conducting VEVO checks, maintaining records, and managing renewals and sponsorship obligations. HR Projects: Assist in the planning and execution of key HR initiatives and projects that align with strategic business goals. HR Administration: Maintain accurate and timely HR records and documentation, while supporting other administrative tasks as needed. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide trusted HR support and promote a positive work environment. What We’re Looking For Demonstrated experience in a similar HR advisory role, ideally within hospitality or a fast-paced industry. Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices. Experience with injury management and return-to-work coordination. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
