With a base in Young, NSW, you’ll work in a well-equipped workshop and have the option to head to client sites across NSW & VIC. No two jobs are the same — think large-scale fabrication, install work, and mechanical maintenance on custom-built bulk storage and handling gear. To be considered for this position, you must: Be able to work as a team and independently. Strong MIG/TIG welding & fabrication skills are desirable. Learn about welding, forming, splicing, fitting steel plates, bearing inspections, replacing parts, and install work (load bellows, screw conveyors, etc.) Have experience in assembly work, putting parts together, and making sure they fit correctly (any industry). Reading instructions and reviewing dimensions from diagrams, blueprints, and sketches. Team Support is working together on some mechanical fitting jobs. Inspecting tools and machines to ensure they are working correctly. What’s in it for you: $30–$45/hr (depending on experience) penalties site allowances. OT available working away perks Super.
