As they embark on a critically time bound transformation of their Payroll & HRIS systems architecture, they require a tenured Project Payroll SME with the ability to drive change in a high volume, 10,000 plus, payroll environment. The Head of Payroll has accelerated her career with tenure and would be an inspiring & supportive counterpart. While delivering the BAU, they can facilitate access & sponsorship to expedite business outcomes & work within tight deadlines. The CFO is an ambassador for the creation of a best-in-class function, hiring a payroll expert and providing the autonomy to achieve this. Empowering the project lead to make informed decisions about process structures & data integration that are fit for purpose. The Role Create & devise the payroll project plan aligned with business-critical deadlines and the company's strategic vision. Prepare test scripts, conduct parallel runs, testing Audit Data Integrity & support effective data migration Work with key stakeholders to ensure systems is shaped around key business, regulatory, and legislative requirements Support dissemination of new T & A system to multi-site operation Business engagement - to encourage user utilisation at all levels Work with systems providers to ensure data integration & accurate, insightful reporting to business leaders & external third-party institutions The role is being recruited on a Fixed Term basis for 24 months; however the role may extend beyond this time frame. You will have a track record of delivery in project management, in the payroll & HRIS space, with the resilient marks to prove it! Despite being a multi-national leader with an international Head Office, they have selected ichris as their new payroll system, due to the efficacy of this system in ANZ payroll. They are affected by the retirement of Preceda, end of life in March 2026. The business is also optimising UKG Dimensions across it's multiple locations and is implementing a rostering & time capture product that will integrate effectively with ichris. In addition to a project management skillset, the organisation is seeking a Frontier SME, who can navigate the business through this material change to their payroll system. Exposure to Preceda & UKG Dimensions would be invaluable.
