Key Responsibilities: Assisting our veterinarians with routine exams and procedures Providing surgical and hospital nursing care, including anaesthetic monitoring Delivering pre- and post-operative patient care, as well as offering grief support to clients Administering medications and preparing treatments as required Managing the admission and discharge process for surgical and hospital patients Communicating treatment plans and updates to clients Performing blood collection, testing, and IV catheter placement Assisting with diagnostic imaging (x-rays and ultrasounds) Supporting dental care, including scale and polish and performing dental x-rays Contributing to day-to-day nursing tasks to support our vets and team in providing the highest standard of patient care What we are looking for: Experience as an exotics vet nurse advantageous but not essential Certificate IV or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience Some Saturday shifts required EzyVet experience preferred, but not essential Good sense of urgency, attention to detail and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure A genuine love for animals and a compassionate attitude towards pet owners Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail Interested?
