About the role and client An exciting fabrication leadership position with our client located in Acacia Ridge, offering an opportunity to build and develop a strong team. Our client is a leading provider of quality products used in the aerospace and defence industry. What you'll be doing Leading a team of 10 comprised of tradesman, apprentices and general labourers in the light fabrication department Coordinating the teams workflow to ensure optimal productivity Verifying welding quality Safely operate and maintain welding equipment Identifying and resolving any issues or defects in the welded components Identify and rectify any issues or defects in welded components Preparing and assembling metal components for welding What we're looking for Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Sheet Metal Worker, Boilermaker, Coach Body Builder) Experienced in staff supervision Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship High regard for health and safety practices Prior experience in a similar role What we offer Competitive salary package Career growth and progression potential Early finish on Fridays If this position is of interest to you please APPLY NOW
