Our client is based in Pendle Hill and they are a manufacturer of plastic industrial film. They are seeking Machine Operators to join their team on either a day, afternoon or night shift. Full time hours on a casual contract with optional over time $33.00 - $42.00 per hour plus superannuation Opportunity to secure a permanent contract after 6 months Responsibilities: Machine Operation : Set up, operate, and monitor plastic extrusion machines used in the production of industrial builders film. Production Monitoring : Continuously monitor the machine to ensure it runs efficiently and meets quality standards. Make adjustments as needed to ensure proper functionality. Material Handling : Load and unload raw materials (e.g., plastic pellets, resins) into machinery and ensure consistent supply for production. Quality Control : Inspect the finished film product for defects such as tears, thickness inconsistencies, or color issues. Document and report any defects to supervisors. Machine Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, including checking for wear, replacing parts, and lubricating moving parts to maintain smooth operation.
