We specialise in turn-key package helping you deal with all aspects of retail shop-fitting and your retail store development objectives. We are seeking a Full-Time Cabinetmaker to join our team. The Cabinetmaker will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing custom-made or production-line cabinetry and furniture. This includes interpreting technical drawings, selecting materials, and using a range of hand and power tools to craft high-quality wood products. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements. Select and prepare timber and other materials. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood and wood-based materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Construct custom cabinetry, built-in furniture, wardrobes, and other wood fittings. Fit hinges, locks, drawers, runners, handles, and other hardware components. Finish surfaces by sanding, staining, painting, or varnishing, depending on project requirements. Install cabinetry and joinery on-site, ensuring precise fitting and alignment. Collaborate with designers, builders, and clients to meet specific design and functional needs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all workplace health and safety guidelines. Qualifications: Certificate III in Cabinet Making (or equivalent qualification). Minimum 1 year experience in cabinetmaking, furniture making, or joinery. Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of woodworking hand tools, power tools, and machinery (e.g. saws, routers, edgebanders). Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Strong understanding of timber types, adhesives, finishes, and fasteners. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good physical fitness and manual dexterity. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
