TP Human Capital is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker for a temporary assignment based in Townsville , supporting a government client . This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping public spaces clean, safe, and well-maintained. Location: Townsville, QLD Employment Type: Temporary Assignment Contract Duration: Until 31st July 2025 Hours of Work: 38 hours per week Pay Rate: $38.34 per hour Key Duties & Responsibilities Mowing and brush cutting Trimming, pruning, and hedging Edging and general tidy-up of parks and open spaces Mulching, garden/tree planting, and staking trees Litter control and graffiti removal Tip runs and herbicide application Cleaning the Rockpool Sandpit maintenance and replacement Licences & Tickets Essential: Current unrestricted QLD “C” Class Manual Driver’s Licence Construction White Card (or ability to obtain) Desirable: MR Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain) First Aid Certificate To Apply If you’re a hands-on professional who enjoys working outdoors and contributing to your local community, we’d love to hear from you.
