About The Role: As a Graduate/Associate Investment Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality managed funds product research to financial advisers and subscribers working alongside experienced Investment Analysts and Senior Investment Analysts. Over time, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of asset classes, including Australian and Global Equities, Fixed Income, Property, Infrastructure, Alternatives, and Multi Asset portfolios. This is a role for someone who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment while having the opportunity to take ownership of their research and contribute to a wider team effort. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive analysis across various asset classes (including Australian Equities, Global Equities, Fixed Interest, Cash and Alternatives) Facilitate the coverage initiation of new funds and maintain ongoing coverage of products. Develop technical knowledge of products across asset classes, Lonsec processes and house views. Assist in report writing and meeting preparation, involving the synthesis of written information and evaluation of product merits. About You: 1-3 years of experience within a research house, financial advisory firm, fund manager, or similar, with a strong focus on financial analysis and market knowledge. Strong qualitative research skills, with the ability to distil financial information efficiently and convey it clearly and concisely. A demonstrable interest in finance and investment Proficient quantitative skills for data manipulation and analysis. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks Demonstrable understanding of investments, equities, and ETFs, or a keen interest to acquire such knowledge. Communication skills that allow you to ask probing questions with confidence and clarity Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, while also taking ownership of your own objectives A positive attitude and a passion for learning!
