Kava Homes Pty Ltd, a growing and dynamic building company, is seeking an experienced Painter to join our expanding team. As registered builders, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the region. Due to an increase in client demand and new projects in the pipeline, we are looking for a skilled painter to help us maintain our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spraying equipment. Preparing surfaces by removing old paint, filling holes, sanding, and cleaning surfaces. Mixing and matching paints and finishes to meet customer requirements. Assisting in the selection of colour schemes and providing advice on finishes and materials. Working collaboratively with other trades and team members to ensure seamless project delivery. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to all company and site safety policies. Skills & Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in painting within residential and/or commercial construction settings. Relevant qualifications in painting or decorating. A valid Victorian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport. Full Australian work rights . Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Familiarity with different application techniques and the ability to adapt to project-specific needs. Knowledge of surface preparation and finish requirements. Multi-language speakers (Hindi, Telugu, or Lankan) preferred . Immediate start preferred.
